Elsa L. Lerro, MD, a board-certified Internal Medicine physician, has been serving patients in the Central Valley since 2000.
Dr. Lerro attended the University of the Philippines, earning her Bachelor of Science in Psychology. In 1990, she received her medical degree from the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center where she also finished both her junior and senior internships. She completed her Internal Medicine residency, Primary Care tract at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Mercy in 1996.
Dr. Lerro earned the highest standard in Internal Medicine, Board Certification from the American Board of Internal medicine which she continues to maintain through voluntary re-certification. As a primary care physician, she is passionate about providing the most comprehensive medical care. Dr. Lerro believes in building long-term and rewarding relationships with her patients based on trust and confidence that she will deliver the best patient-centered care. She focuses on prevention and diagnosis of adult diseases, from acute to chronic, simple to complex medical dilemmas and applying evidence-based treatment and recommendations. She takes pride in having had extensive training and clinical expertise with the commitment to continued medical education to help those who seek her medical services.
Outside of the office, Dr. Lerro is a loving wife and a mother to a high school student-athlete son. She enjoys gardening, especially growing succulents, running reading, world travel, and being a doggie mom to Lord Bruno and Guido Mars.
